Readings panel

There's a new panel on the right hand side of this blog, which I'll try to keep up-to-date with information on my upcoming readings, including times and SLURL links.

What a great evening

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came to my 'AFK' reading at Milkwood last night. It was a great evening - a wonderful atmosphere - and my biggest audience to date (we actually ran out of seats at the Roost!).

I'll be repeating this reading on 25 October at Bookstacks, at 4pm SLT, as part of the build up to National Novel Writing Month in November (AFK was written for this last year).

And thanks to Delillah Sweetwater for the picture :)

AFK reading at Milk Wood

I've put together a series of extracts from AFK for a reading at Milk Wood on Thursday October 25. The extracts are the sections of the book where Definitely Thursday reflects on Second Life and on being a Second Life detective.

The readings will take place at The Roost. At the TP point, walk inland towards the market and hang a left past the first tent.

Come visit my bookstore... come away with a bug

Courtesy of the very generous people at London School of Journalism, I now have my very own place in SL in which to show off my wares. Come visit my little shop, if you can manage to ignore my sad delight in 70s orange. There's even a free gift to pick up, for those of you interested in home security: the very same listening script used on the first page of AFK stuffed into a decorative prim. Use it responsibly, now!
